Returns and Refunds Policy

At KickOn Bottle Shop, we are committed to providing quality products and services. This Returns and Refunds Policy outlines your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our procedures for handling returns and refunds.

1. Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, consumers are entitled to remedies if goods or services fail to meet consumer guarantees. These guarantees include that products must:

  • Be of acceptable quality
  • Match the description provided
  • Be fit for any disclosed purpose
  • Have spare parts and repair facilities available for a reasonable time 
  • If a product fails to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances .

2. When You Are Entitled to a Refund or Replacement

You are entitled to a refund or replacement if the product:

  • Is faulty or defective
  • Is significantly different from its description or sample
  • Does not do what it is supposed to do
  • Is unsafe

In such cases, please contact us promptly with proof of purchase, and we will arrange for a remedy in accordance with the ACL.

3. When You Are Not Entitled to a Refund

You are not entitled to a refund or replacement if:

  • You change your mind
  • You ordered the wrong product
  • You found the product cheaper elsewhere
  • The product was damaged due to misuse 
  • The product has been opened and consumed

However, we may, at our discretion, offer an exchange or store credit in certain circumstances.

4. Proof of Purchase

To process a return or refund, we require proof of purchase, such as:

  • A receipt or tax invoice
  • A bank or credit card statement
  • A warranty card with details of the purchase

5. How to Make a Return

To initiate a return, please:

  • Provide details of the product and the issue encountered
  • Present proof of purchase

Our team will guide you through the return process and inform you of the next steps.

6. Return of Faulty Goods

If the product is faulty:

  • We will assess the product to determine the nature of the fault
  • If the fault is major, you may choose a refund or replacement
  • If the fault is minor, we may repair the product within a reasonable time

7. Change of Mind Returns

While the ACL does not require us to provide a refund or replacement for change of mind, we may offer an exchange or store credit at our discretion, provided:

  • The product is unopened and in its original condition
  • You present proof of purchase
  • The return is made within 14 days of purchase 

Please note that this policy does not apply to perishable goods or items marked as clearance or sale.
