Kick On Bottle Shop – Self-Exclusion Policy

1. Purpose
Kick On Bottle Shop is committed to the responsible service of alcohol and the well-being of our customers. We recognize that some individuals may wish to voluntarily restrict their access to alcohol. This Self-Exclusion Policy outlines the process for customers to self-exclude from our services, both online and in-store.
2. What is Self-Exclusion?
Self-exclusion is a voluntary process where a customer requests to be restricted from purchasing alcohol from our services for a specified period or permanently. This measure is designed to support individuals who believe they may be at risk of developing, or are currently experiencing, issues related to alcohol consumption.
3. Scope
This policy applies to all Kick On Bottle Shop services, including:
- Online Services: Ordering through our website.
- In-Store Services: Purchases made at our physical locations:
- KickOn Stones Corner: 2/476 Logan Rd, Greenslopes QLD 4120
- KickOn Highgate Hill: Gladstone Rd & Prospect Terrace, Highgate Hill QLD 4101
- KickOn Balmoral: 175 Riding Rd, Balmoral QLD 4171
4. How to Self-Exclude
4.1 Online Self-Exclusion
To self-exclude from our online services:
Send an email to info@kickon.com.au with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request."
Include the following details in your email:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Email Address associated with your account
- Phone Number
- Desired duration of self-exclusion (e.g., 6 months, 1 year, permanent)
Upon receipt, our Customer Support team will process your request within 2 business days. You will receive confirmation once the self-exclusion is in effect.
4.2 In-Store Self-Exclusion
To self-exclude from in-store purchases:
- Visit your nearest Kick On Bottle Shop location.
- Request to speak with the Store Manager.
Inform the Store Manager of your desire to self-exclude and provide the following details:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Contact Information
- Desired duration of self-exclusion
The Store Manager will process your request and provide confirmation once the self-exclusion is active.
5. Duration and Reinstatement
Duration: You may choose to self-exclude for a specific period (e.g., 6 months, 1 year) or permanently.
- Reinstatement: To revoke your self-exclusion, submit a written request to orders@kickonbottleshop.com.au. A minimum 24-hour cooling-off period applies before reinstatement is considered. Processing may take several business days.
6. Marketing Communications
Upon activation of self-exclusion:
- You will be removed from all direct marketing and promotional communications.
- Your account will be restricted from placing orders during the self-exclusion period.
7. Confidentiality
All personal information provided for self-exclusion will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will use this information solely for the purpose of implementing and maintaining your self-exclusion.
8. Third-Party Exclusion Requests
If you are concerned about someone else's alcohol consumption, you may submit a third-party exclusion request by contacting us at orders@kickonbottleshop.com.au. We will assess the request in accordance with our policies and applicable laws.
